2015/2016, Wendy Slee, Hithergreen, Busselton, Repair works to Heritage Home

Wendy’s home is situated on the family farm at Hithergreen. Being the original family home being built many years ago, classed as a heritage home for the region of Busselton, the home required extensive upgrades. The Home was re roofed, with the top half of the brick chimney removed and capped to be left as a feature to the family home. The roof was fully insulated and vermin proofed, with new gutters and downpipes added to the roof for the collection of rain water. The home also required a new timber verandah, with replacement and repair work to the remaining Timber verandah posts. Several of the old wooden window frames were replaced with replica frames, allowing the windows to be open for air flow into the home. Wendy had always wanted a carport for her home, which Mike built to suit the character of the home.
