Whalers Cove

Completed: 1998

These homes were built by Mike as a part of a beach-side strata management resort in Dunsborough.  These resort style villas built right on the beach front were designed by Perth architects, “Front End Design”, who incorporated a casual relaxed holiday accommodation village.

The internal finishing’s included the latest up market materials in all the cabinetry to kitchen and the wet areas, including high end plumbing and electrical fixtures throughout. Tratine and terracotta floor tiles were chosen to suit the beach feel.

The villas consisted of 3 bedrooms, a combined central kitchen and living area, flowing out onto an undercover outdoor area for entertaining.

The northern aspect of the block gave great use of the winter sun flooding into the living areas, by the use of the huge floor to ceiling doors and windows.

All the villas have an open bunkhouse loft above the bathroom and laundry areas, for the children to bunk in and adding that extra holiday appeal to the home.

Internal finishing’s included solid jarrah plank doors, with jarrah skirtings and architraves throughout, with some timber floors in some units, depending on the client’s individual taste.
